Description

The Alfaisis is a 1000mm white plastic track cover designed to conceal the rail and wiring of track lighting systems. The cover measures 50mm in projection from the ceiling, forming a rectangular channel that clips over standard track lighting rails. The white finish provides a clean visual break between the ceiling plane and the track hardware beneath.

Track covers are used in both residential and commercial installations where exposed track rails create visual clutter or where a more integrated ceiling appearance is required. The Alfaisis suits kitchens, retail spaces, galleries and hospitality environments where track lighting provides functional illumination but the rail itself needs to blend with the ceiling. The 1000mm length can be installed as a single run or joined end-to-end with additional sections to cover longer track runs.

The plastic construction keeps the cover lightweight and easy to handle during installation, while the white finish can be painted over if a colour match to the ceiling is required. The 50mm depth accommodates most single-circuit track systems without interfering with the movement or rotation of track-mounted spotlights. The cover is a cosmetic accessory and does not affect the electrical function of the track beneath.

The Alfaisis is designed for Ideal Lux track systems and most standard single-circuit track rails with a similar profile. Check the track rail dimensions before ordering to confirm compatibility, particularly if using a non-Ideal Lux track.

Can the cover be painted?

Yes. The white plastic surface can be painted with most interior paints if a colour match to the ceiling is needed. Light sanding before priming improves paint adhesion.

How is the cover installed?

The cover clips over the track rail once the track is fixed to the ceiling. Installation typically involves sliding the cover onto the rail before final electrical connection, or removing spotlights temporarily to slide the cover on if the track is already live.

Can multiple covers be joined for longer runs?

Yes. Multiple 1000mm sections can be installed end-to-end to cover longer track runs. Ideal Lux also produces the Alfaisis cover in other lengths to reduce the number of joints required on extended installations.
