Description

The Alfaisis is a 1m aluminium LED landscape ground light housing an integrated 18W LED array delivering 3000K warm white light through a linear aperture. The grey powder-coated aluminium body carries an IP65 rating for dust ingress and water jet protection, allowing installation on outdoor facades, below ground-floor windowsills, along pathway edges, and as garden bed uplighting where the fitting is exposed to rain and hose spray.

Designed for architectural accent lighting rather than flood illumination, the Alfaisis casts a focused wash of light up building facades, onto garden walls, or across planting beds. The 1000mm length provides continuous coverage along horizontal surfaces, making the fitting suitable for illuminating retail frontages, residential boundary walls, and contemporary garden architecture. Mounting brackets allow the bar to be fixed horizontally at ground level or tilted up to 45° to adjust the throw angle across vertical surfaces.

The integrated LED eliminates bulb replacement on a fitting positioned close to the ground where access may be restricted by planting or paving. The 3000K colour temperature provides a warm accent that complements natural stone, brick and timber facades without the colour shift that cooler daylight LEDs can produce on warm-toned materials. The grey finish minimises daytime visibility against concrete paving, rendered walls and dark-toned cladding, allowing the fitting to blend into architectural surfaces when not illuminated.

Each Alfaisis unit draws 18W on a mains supply and requires connection to an outdoor-rated junction box or cable run protected to IP65 standard or higher. The fitting weighs approximately 1.8kg and the mounting brackets accommodate fixing to horizontal or vertical surfaces using M6 fixings into masonry, timber or metal substrates.

What does the IP65 rating mean for outdoor use?

IP65 confirms the fitting is dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. This makes the Alfaisis suitable for installation on facades, garden beds and pathways where it will be exposed to rain, hose spray and garden irrigation.

Can the fitting be tilted to adjust the light angle?

Yes. The mounting brackets allow the bar to be fixed horizontally or tilted up to approximately 45° to adjust the throw angle onto vertical surfaces such as walls or facade cladding.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED array is integrated into the fitting and not user-replaceable. Ideal Lux backs the LED with a 5-year warranty covering LED failure and output degradation.

What length of facade or wall does one unit illuminate?

The 1m bar provides continuous light coverage along its own length. For longer runs, multiple Alfaisis units can be mounted end-to-end with a small gap between each fitting to allow for wiring connections.
