Description

The Mantra Alfa is an 80cm diameter 8-light chandelier built around a central polished chrome hub with eight rectangular arms extending outwards in a geometric starburst configuration. Each arm terminates in a multifaceted crystal glass shade housing a G9 bulb (sold separately). The arms interweave at varying heights, creating a three-dimensional sculptural form that changes appearance depending on viewing angle.

Designed for dining rooms, large entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Alfa provides both ambient and decorative lighting. The adjustable drop ranges from 440mm to 680mm, allowing the chandelier to sit 700-900mm above a dining table or be raised higher in double-height spaces. The 800mm diameter suits rooms 4m wide or larger, and the 7.7kg weight requires a ceiling fitting rated for at least 10kg.

Each of the eight crystal glass shades is cut with multiple flat facets that refract light outwards and downwards, amplifying the output of each G9 bulb. The polished chrome finish on the metal frame reflects surrounding light and colour, creating visual interplay between the metal arms and the crystal shades. The chandelier is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 LED bulbs and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer.

The Alfa ships with height-adjustable cable and mounting hardware for standard UK ceiling roses. Installation requires two people due to the weight and the need to balance the arms during fitting. The crystal shades are removable for cleaning and bulb replacement.
