Description

The Alaska is a 2 light wall lamp in satin nickel with two frosted glass shades shaped with angular facets, mounted on a dual-arm metal frame with an integrated rocker switch on the circular back plate. Each shade houses a GU10 bulb (both included), delivering 18W combined output at 2700K warm white. The frosted glass diffuses the light across the angular cuts, softening the glow and reducing glare.

Designed for bedrooms, hallway alcoves, and living room accent positions, the Alaska provides mid-level ambient light rather than task brightness. The integrated rocker switch on the back plate allows the lamp to be switched on and off at the wall without needing a separate pull-cord or wall switch, which is useful in bedrooms flanking a headboard or in hallways where a switch might otherwise need to be positioned awkwardly. The 230mm width and 140mm projection suit alcoves and chimney breast positions without dominating the wall plane.

Does the rocker switch control both lights together?

Yes. The integrated rocker switch on the back plate switches both GU10 bulbs on and off together. There is no option to control them individually.

Are the bulbs included?

Yes. The Alaska includes two GU10 bulbs rated at 2700K warm white. Combined power consumption is 18W.

Is it suitable for bathroom use?

The specification does not list an IP rating, so the Alaska is not certified for bathroom zones where moisture ingress is a consideration. It is designed for dry interior locations such as bedrooms, hallways and living rooms.

Can the bulbs be replaced with dimmable GU10s?
