Description

A short column of a garden light, standing 60cm tall on a 15cm base, finished in a fine sand black that reads dark and quiet by day. The light source is an integrated LED drawing 12W, giving a warm white glow that falls down and outwards across the ground rather than into the eye. It is not dimmable, so it comes on at full output, which suits a path light that simply needs to do its job at dusk.

We would use it in a run along a driveway edge or a garden path, spaced so the pools of light meet gently. It also works set back into planting, where the low column disappears among foliage and only the light shows. Warm white keeps borders and brickwork looking natural rather than blue-tinged, and the height clears low shrubs without looming over them. It suits front gardens, side returns and courtyards, and it is one we reach for where a taller post would sit too heavily beside a doorway.

The body is made for weather, sealed against dust and splashing rain, and the driver sits inside the unit so nothing extra needs housing nearby. The LED is fixed in place, so there is no lamp to change over its life. To keep it looking well, wipe the column with a damp cloth when you sweep the path, and stop grass clippings and soil banking up around the base. It carries a three year warranty. We stock the same design as a taller column in the matching sand black, and the two sit happily along one route, the taller pair marking a gate or a turn and the shorter ones carrying the run between.
