Description

The Aetheron is a 6-light semi-flush ceiling light from Ideal Lux Italy, built around a 400mm-diameter white metal ceiling plate with six frosted glass globe shades suspended on white cylindrical drops at varying heights. Each globe houses an E27 bulb (sold separately), providing diffused ambient light through the frosted glass.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3-2.7m where a flush or near-flush fitting is needed but full pendant height is not available, the Aetheron suits living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and kitchen-diners. The staggered drop heights of the six globes create visual depth without the fitting extending more than 200-250mm below the ceiling, making it a practical option for low-ceiling flats and period conversions where original ceiling roses have been lowered.

The white matt-painted metal body integrates cleanly into white or light-coloured ceilings, with the frosted globes providing the primary visual accent. The fixing plate uses a concealed screw system, so no fixings are visible once installed. The IP20 rating confirms the fitting is suitable for dry indoor locations only. The Aetheron is dimmable when paired with dimmable E27 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch on the circuit.
