The Aetheron is a 400mm semi-flush ceiling light with six cylindrical arms projecting downwards from a circular matt black metal base, each terminating in a frosted glass globe housing an E27 bulb. The arms are staggered at different heights, creating a clustered arrangement that works as both task and ambient light in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3-2.6m.

Designed for living rooms, dining areas, entrance halls and bedrooms where a conventional flush fitting provides insufficient light but a full pendant would hang too low, the Aetheron projects approximately 250mm from the ceiling when fully assembled. The six E27 sockets accept LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to 60W each (bulbs sold separately), giving flexibility to choose colour temperature and total lumen output based on room size and purpose. The frosted glass diffuses direct glare from the bulbs while maintaining downward directionality.

The matt black finish is a powder-coated metal that resists fingerprints during installation and pairs with both industrial and contemporary interiors. The circular ceiling plate conceals all fixings and cable entries, giving a clean finish once installed. Each glass globe is held by a black metal collar that screws onto the threaded end of each arm, allowing individual globes to be replaced if damaged without re-wiring the entire fitting. The clustered arrangement and black-on-white contrast make the Aetheron work particularly well in rooms with white or light-coloured ceilings.

Is the Aetheron dimmable?

Yes, provided you use dimmable E27 bulbs and pair the fitting with a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself supports dimming — bulb and dimmer compatibility is what determines whether it will actually dim smoothly.

What bulbs does it take?

Six E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. For a 15-20m² living room or dining room, six 8-10W warm-white LED bulbs at 2700-3000K provide sufficient ambient and task light.

What ceiling height is needed?

The Aetheron projects approximately 250mm from the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or above. In rooms with ceilings lower than 2.3m, the fitting may feel visually intrusive or risk head clearance in circulation areas.

Can individual globes be replaced?

Yes. Each frosted glass globe is held by a threaded metal collar that screws onto the arm. If a globe is damaged, unscrew the collar, replace the globe, and re-attach without needing to disconnect the wiring or remove the fitting from the ceiling.
