Description

The Aetheron is a 3 light semi-flush ceiling light built around a 300mm circular matt black canopy with three cylindrical metal drops, each housing an E27 bulb inside an opal glass globe. The canopy sits approximately 50mm proud of the ceiling, making this fitting suited to rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or lower where a full pendant would hang too low.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, box rooms and lower-ceiling spaces, the Aetheron provides general ambient lighting across 8-12m² floor areas depending on bulb choice. The opal globes diffuse the light output from each bulb evenly in all directions, avoiding harsh shadows and glare. The cylindrical drops stagger at different lengths to create visual interest when viewed from below without requiring additional ceiling height.

The matt black finish on the metal canopy and drops absorbs light rather than reflecting it, keeping visual focus on the three opal globes. The IP20 rating suits dry indoor locations away from bathrooms and shower rooms. The fitting accepts three E27 bulbs up to 60W each (sold separately) and is dimmable when paired with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.

Yes. The semi-flush design sits approximately 50mm from the ceiling and the three cylindrical drops extend downwards without requiring significant ceiling height, making this fitting well-suited to rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or below.

What bulbs does it take?

The Aetheron takes three E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. For general ambient lighting in a bedroom or hallway, most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you use dimmable E27 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself supports dimming but both the bulbs and the dimmer switch must also be compatible with each other for the system to work correctly.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means this fitting is not protected against moisture ingress and must only be used in dry indoor locations away from bathrooms, shower rooms and other wet or damp environments.
