Description

The Adaggio Iris is a 220mm-diameter LED table lamp built around a continuous polished chrome spiral that holds a clear acrylic diffuser running the entire length of the loop. An integrated 8W LED inside the diffuser casts 640 lumens of 3000K warm white light through the acrylic, turning the entire spiral into a glowing sculptural object rather than a traditional shaded lamp.

Designed for side tables, console units and bedside positions in living rooms, bedrooms and contemporary hotel interiors, the lamp functions as both task lighting and decorative accent. The 330mm height sits comfortably on a standard bedside table without obstructing sightlines across the room, while the 220mm footprint fits narrow console tables and compact surfaces. The chrome frame reflects surrounding light during the day, giving the lamp a mirrored presence even when switched off.

The continuous loop form is constructed from a single bent chrome tube, creating a flowing line with no visible joins or fixings on the front face. The clear acrylic diffuser softens the LED source without masking the internal light path, so the entire loop appears to glow rather than emitting light from a single point. The 8W integrated LED delivers the equivalent output of a 60W incandescent bulb at a fraction of the power consumption, backed by Mantra's 3-year warranty.

Is the Adaggio Iris dimmable?

No. The integrated LED runs at a fixed output of 640 lumens. Dimmer compatibility is not supported on this model.

Can the bulb be replaced?

The LED is integrated into the lamp structure and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use, which equates to around 10 years of typical domestic use at 7 hours per day. Mantra provides a 3-year warranty on the entire lamp including the LED module.

What surfaces is it suitable for?

The 220mm circular base works on side tables, console units, bedside tables and narrow shelves. The 1.2kg weight provides stability without needing additional fixing, though the chrome base may mark highly polished surfaces over time — a felt pad underneath prevents this.

How is the chrome maintained?

Wipe the polished chrome frame with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust and fingerprints. For heavier marks, a barely-damp cloth followed by immediate drying prevents water spots. Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishes that can scratch the chrome finish.
