The Knightsbridge 5A unswitched round socket module is a 50 x 50mm grid insert designed for euro-module faceplates in modular wiring systems. The module features a three-pin round socket certified to BS 546, with an earth terminal and no integral switch. The grey ABS construction sits 26mm deep once recessed into a back box.

Designed for modular installations where multiple sockets, switches or data points are grouped onto a single euro-module faceplate, the module fits standard 25mm minimum depth back boxes. The 5A rating handles lower-power devices such as table lamps, small appliances and audiovisual equipment, making it suitable for bedside positions, office desks and media consoles where a full 13A socket is not required. The unswitched design means the socket is always live when the circuit is energised, allowing plug-in devices to remain continuously powered.

The grey finish provides a neutral backdrop that pairs with both white and metallic euro-module faceplates, and the matt texture minimises fingerprint visibility. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations.
