Description

The Knightsbridge NSPGU4C is a 765mm steel spotlight bar carrying four individually adjustable GU10 heads on a chrome rail. Each head tilts 90° and rotates 300° independently, allowing light to be directed to different zones across a kitchen worktop, studio wall, or retail display without moving the fitting itself. The bar mounts flush to the ceiling or wall via a circular backplate.

Designed for kitchens, home offices, workshops and small commercial interiors where multiple zones need directed light from a single ceiling point, the bar suits rooms 3-5m wide. The four GU10 fittings accept standard halogen or LED GU10 bulbs up to 50W each (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose colour temperature, beam angle and output according to the task. The 32mm diameter heads keep a low profile once fitted.

The chrome finish is electroplated steel, giving a reflective silver tone that pairs with stainless steel appliances, polished chrome taps and contemporary kitchen hardware. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations only. The fitting is Class I earthed and requires connection to a UK 230V circuit via a qualified electrician. Dimmability depends on the bulb chosen — most LED GU10s are dimmable when paired with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer.

The fitting takes four GU10 bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with LED GU10s between 4-7W and 3000K-4000K for kitchen or workspace task lighting. The fitting supports halogen or LED up to 50W per head.

Can it be mounted on the wall as well as the ceiling?

Yes. The circular backplate allows the bar to be mounted on either a ceiling or a wall. When wall-mounted, the heads can be angled downwards or outwards to wash light across a display or architectural feature.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the GU10 bulb fitted. Most dimmable LED GU10s work with trailing-edge dimmers. If using halogen GU10s, a standard leading-edge dimmer is suitable. Check the bulb packaging for dimmer compatibility before purchasing.

What room width does it suit?

The 765mm bar length suits rooms 3-5m wide when ceiling-mounted centrally. For narrower spaces or focused task lighting over a worktop or desk, the four heads provide enough coverage for a 2-3m run when wall-mounted above the work surface.
