Description

The Knightsbridge 20AX 1-gang 2-way modular rocker switch is a 50x50mm wide black module designed to fit euro modular faceplates, allowing custom configurations when paired with other modules in the Knightsbridge modular range. The 2-way switching allows control of a single lighting circuit from two different locations, and the 20AX rating handles loads up to 4,600W on 230V circuits.

Designed for residential and commercial installations where modular switching is preferred over fixed-format plates, the switch works in conjunction with Knightsbridge left-hand and right-hand socket combination plates to build custom layouts. The 50x50mm format provides a larger rocker contact area than the 25x50mm variant, making the switch easier to locate and operate in low-light conditions or for users with limited dexterity.

The black ABS construction carries an IP20 rating for indoor dry locations, and the module requires a minimum 25mm back box depth behind the faceplate. The rocker action is sprung-return with a positive click at both the on and off positions, and the switch accepts standard UK twin-and-earth or three-core-and-earth cable configurations depending on whether it's used as a one-way or two-way circuit.
