Description

The Knightsbridge 20A 1-gang double pole switch controls fixed appliances such as water heaters, immersion heaters, and other high-draw equipment requiring isolated switching. The switch is rated at 20A on 230V mains and uses double pole switching to isolate both live and neutral lines when turned off, providing safer isolation than single-pole switching for permanent wiring installations.

Designed for residential, commercial and hospitality installations where fixed appliances need dedicated control, the switch fits a standard 25mm minimum back box depth and uses an ultra-flat plate design that projects just 2.5mm from the wall once fitted. The flat plate construction removes the stepped edge found on traditional raised plates, giving a cleaner finish on modern plastered walls and tiled surfaces.

The pearl finish is a warm off-white metallic tone that sits between polished chrome and brushed stainless steel, pairing comfortably with both warm and cool interior colour schemes. The matching pearl rocker sits flush with the plate when in the off position, and the rocker aperture has a defined black edge to maintain visual clarity.
