One faceplate here covers two jobs: a telephone connection sitting beside an ethernet data socket for a wired network. It is a two gang plate in ice white, and the front is screwless, clipping over its frame so the finished face shows no screw heads at all. The plate is 88mm square, the same footprint as an ordinary single plate, so it keeps a tidy line where several plates run along the same wall. It is a plain, quiet piece of hardware, which is what you want at desk height.

We reach for this one in home offices and studies, where a desk needs both a network point and a phone line without crowding the wall with extra plates. It also works well behind a television or in the corner where a router lives, and in a spare bedroom that doubles as a work room.
