Description

Two coaxial connections sit behind a single flat plate, so an aerial feed and a further signal run can arrive at the same spot on the wall rather than at separate points. The face is matt black with no screw heads on show, which is what keeps the look quiet: a plain square, 88mm across, with both connectors set side by side. It is a small piece of hardware, but on a dark wall it reads as part of the wall rather than an interruption.

We fit these where a television is going on the wall and the cabling needs to come up neatly beneath it, in living rooms, bedrooms and snugs. They carry signal rather than mains power, so you will still want a power point close by for the television itself, and we usually specify them together. The screwless style suits homes where the switches and sockets have already gone black, and it works just as well as a single considered detail in a room otherwise fitted out in white.

The plate is moulded in ABS with the matt black finish carried across the whole face, so it shows fingerprints far less readily than a gloss or a polished metal. Keep it looking right with a dry cloth for dust and, for marks, a cloth barely damp with warm water; solvents, polishes and cream cleaners will burn the sheen off matt plastics and there is no bringing it back. It is intended for dry indoor rooms and for low voltage aerial and data circuits only, never mains. It carries a ten year warranty.
