A screwless plate that carries both a telephone connection and a coaxial television point, so one position on the wall serves both jobs instead of taking up a second spot. The strawberry finish is a warm red, a change from the usual white plastic, and the screwless front leaves the face clean with no fixing heads showing. The plate is square at 88mm across, with the sockets set side by side and marked for easy identification.

It is a square plate, 88mm by 88mm, which is the standard double plate footprint used across most British wiring accessories.

Can I plug an appliance into this?

No. Both sockets are signal connections, one for a telephone lead and one for a coaxial television lead. You will need a separate 13A socket for power.

What is the plate made from?

Moulded ABS, with the strawberry colour going right through the plastic rather than being applied as a surface coat.

How should I clean it?

A dry cloth is all it needs. Avoid cream cleaners, bleach and any solvent based product, as these can leave the surface cloudy.

Is it suitable for a bathroom or outbuilding?

It is rated for indoor use in dry rooms only, so a bathroom, garage or garden room with damp in the air is not the right place for it.
