The Knightsbridge 13A 2-gang unswitched floor socket provides two standard UK mains outlets through a recessed floor plate with a spring-loaded brushed brass cover and white insert. The socket sits flush with the floor surface when closed, with only a 3mm projection above floor level, and the spring mechanism holds the cover open at approximately 90 degrees when in use, preventing it from closing on plugs during connection.

Designed for installation in office floors, hotel rooms, conference spaces and residential open-plan areas where permanent visible sockets would disrupt floor aesthetics, the socket requires a 35mm minimum back box depth recessed into a concrete or timber floor void. The 144mm x 94.5mm footprint fits standard underfloor trunking systems and the IP20 rating restricts use to dry interior locations away from water contact.
