Description

The Knightsbridge 13A 1-gang switched socket combines a single 13A outlet with four USB-A charging ports behind a black nickel screwless faceplate with a black insert. The USB ports share a 5.1A total output at 5V DC, with one port rated at 2.1A for tablets and larger devices, and the remaining three sharing 3A for phones and smaller electronics.

Designed for bedrooms, hotel rooms, offices and kitchens where both mains power and USB charging are needed in a single wall location, the socket fits a standard 25-35mm mounting box depending on wiring conditions. The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame, leaving no visible screws or fixings on the wall once installed. The 13A rating handles standard UK appliance loads up to 2,990W.

The black nickel finish is a dark gunmetal tone that sits between polished chrome and matt black, providing a modern industrial accent that pairs well with contemporary kitchens, hotel interiors and workspaces using dark metal fixtures. The SPCC steel construction gives rigidity to the plate, and the included gasket ensures a flush mount against the wall. The socket carries BS1363-2 certification, EMC testing and ErP compliance.
