The Knightsbridge 13A 1-gang switched socket adds two USB-A charging ports behind a polished chrome bevelled-edge faceplate with a grey insert. The dual USB ports share a combined 5V DC 2.1A output, allowing simultaneous charging of two devices at standard USB speeds. The single switched socket outlet is rated for 13A loads up to 3,120W.

Designed for residential, hospitality and office installation where a blend of mains power and USB charging is needed in a single wall plate, the socket fits a standard UK back box with a minimum 35mm depth depending on cable runs. The bevelled edge gives the faceplate a defined border and the grey insert provides contrast against the polished chrome, hiding the back of the cover plate and giving clean aperture edges around each outlet and USB port.

The faceplate is manufactured from premium-grade steel with a polished chrome finish that provides a bright, reflective surface suitable for contemporary, industrial and bathroom interiors. The 88mm square dimensions and 7.5mm projection from the wall match standard UK single-gang accessories, allowing this socket to sit flush alongside other switches and sockets in the same range. The dual USB-A ports share a combined 5V DC 2.1A output. When both ports are in use, the total current is split between the two devices. This supports standard USB charging speeds but is not fast-charge compatible.
