The Knightsbridge 13A 1-gang SP switched socket integrates two USB-A charging ports behind a brushed chrome screwless faceplate with a grey insert. The dual USB ports share a 5V DC 2.4A output, allowing simultaneous charging of two devices without occupying the mains outlet. Single-pole switching isolates the live conductor when the socket is switched off, suitable for standard appliances up to 3,120W.

Designed for bedside tables, kitchen worktops, home offices and hospitality installations, the socket provides accessible charging without requiring separate plug-in adapters. The screwless faceplate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box, meaning no visible screws or fixings appear on the wall once installed. The integrated gasket between the faceplate and wall provides a gap-free finish that prevents dust ingress behind the plate.

The brushed chrome finish is a fine directional brushing applied to 201 stainless steel, giving a cooler metallic tone that pairs with contemporary, industrial and minimalist interiors. The grey insert behind the chrome faceplate hides the back of the cover plate and defines the socket aperture. The 87.5mm square plate is slightly larger than a traditional UK socket, accommodating the USB ports without increasing projection from the wall beyond 9.6mm.
