Description

The Knightsbridge FPR9905BCG combines a 13A switched socket, dual USB charging ports and a 3W RMS Bluetooth speaker behind a single brushed chrome flat plate with grey insert. The speaker connects wirelessly to smartphones, tablets and laptops for audio playback, while the USB ports provide 5V DC 2.4A shared output for charging devices. The speaker has a dedicated on/off button to disable audio when not needed, while the socket and USB ports remain active.

Designed for kitchens, home offices and living rooms where both power and background audio are useful, the unit replaces a standard single-gang socket position without needing additional back box space for separate speakers or USB chargers. The flat plate design sits flush to the wall with only 5.4mm projection, and the brushed chrome finish integrates visually with other Knightsbridge Flat Plate accessories in the same room. The 13A socket handles standard UK appliance loads up to 2,990W.

The 201 stainless steel faceplate is brushed to reduce fingerprint visibility and paired with a grey thermoplastic insert that frames the socket aperture, USB ports and speaker grille. The unit fits 35-47mm back boxes and requires a minimum 35mm depth for safe installation. The Bluetooth speaker uses standard Bluetooth profiles for pairing and draws power from the mains connection, so no batteries or separate charging is needed. The unit is ErP Ready, entering energy-saving idle mode when the socket is switched off and no USB devices are drawing current.
