Description

The Knightsbridge PM4W is a 10AX 3-gang 2-way wide rocker switch with a white screwless faceplate and anti-microbial surface treatment. The switch is designed to meet Part M Building Regulations for accessible dwellings, with wide rocker paddles that provide easier operation for users with limited dexterity and a light reflectance value of approximately 8.9 that creates visual contrast between the switch, plate and wall.

Designed for lighting circuits in residential, care home and accessible housing installations, the 10AX rating handles loads up to 2,300W per gang (230V lighting circuits). The 2-way switching configuration allows the same light to be controlled from two different wall positions, typical for staircases, hallways and landings. The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame, concealing fixings for a cleaner finish.

The white thermoset resin construction provides a durable finish that resists discolouration and mechanical wear. The anti-microbial treatment is tested to ISO 22196:2011, reducing bacterial growth on the switch surface in environments where hygiene matters.
