The wide rocker design provides larger switch paddle areas than standard rockers, making it easier to operate for users with reduced dexterity or visual impairment.

Designed for healthcare environments, care homes, schools and other high-traffic or hygiene-critical settings, the anti-microbial properties actively reduce bacterial growth on the switch surface. The 2-way configuration allows the same lighting circuit to be controlled from two different switch positions, typical for staircases, hallways and rooms with multiple access points. The 10AX rating handles lighting loads up to 2,300W on 230V circuits.

The screwless faceplate clips onto a separate mounting frame fixed to the back box, leaving no visible screws on the wall surface. What does anti-microbial mean in practice?

The thermoset resin is formulated with additives that actively reduce bacterial growth on the switch surface. What's the difference between 2-way and 1-way switching?

A 2-way switch allows the same lighting circuit to be controlled from two different locations, such as both ends of a hallway or staircase. A 1-way switch controls a circuit from one location only. This CU3W is 2-way, so it can be paired with another 2-way switch to control the same lights from two positions.

What back box depth is required?

A 16mm minimum mounting box depth is needed. Standard UK 25mm back boxes are compatible. The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate mounting frame fixed to the back box.

Can it be cleaned with disinfectant?
