Description

The Knightsbridge 100A 5-way single pole connector block is a green polycarbonate enclosure designed for earth circuit distribution in consumer units and electrical sub-boards. The block accepts up to five incoming or outgoing conductors ranging from 2.5mm² to 35mm² cross-section, with each terminal secured by an Allen key screw to maintain firm contact under load.

Used in residential, commercial and light industrial installations where a single earth conductor needs to be split into multiple outgoing earth connections, the block carries a 100A current rating on 230V AC. The IP2XD rating means the terminals are protected against insertion of a 12.5mm diameter test probe, meeting requirements for finger-safe installation in accessible locations. Unused terminal apertures are covered by internal shutters to prevent accidental contact.

The block measures 64mm tall by 51mm wide by 41mm deep, allowing it to fit within standard consumer unit enclosures with adequate clearance. Multiple blocks can be interlocked side-by-side using the moulded clips on each side, creating larger earth bar assemblies without additional fixing hardware. The green polycarbonate body provides visual identification of earth connections to aid compliance with BS 7671 wiring regulations.
