Description
The Remyck is a brushed gold floor lamp built around a right-angled arm that extends from a vertical stem, supporting a downward-facing conical shade above a circular base. The lamp stands 1488mm tall with a 229mm width and 309mm projection, fitting into narrow spaces beside armchairs, sofas, or in corners where a traditional tripod footprint would not work. The shade houses a single E27 bulb fitting rated up to 60W (bulb sold separately).
Designed as task lighting for reading positions or as accent lighting in living rooms and bedrooms, the Remyck directs light downward through the open cone aperture. The right-angled arm allows the shade to project forward over a seat or table surface without the lamp base sitting directly beside it, making the fitting useful where floor space is limited but overhead light is needed. The circular base provides stability on both hard floors and rugs.
The brushed gold finish sits between polished brass and antique brass in tone, with a low-sheen surface that softens reflections under daylight and pairs with warm-toned contemporary and mid-century interiors. The conical shade casts a defined pool of light downward, with minimal spill upward or sideways, making the lamp suitable for focused tasks or for accenting a specific area without flooding the room with ambient light. The metal construction gives the lamp a weight of approximately 3kg, keeping the slim profile stable when the shade is angled forward.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Remyck take?
The lamp takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for reading or accent lighting.
Can the shade be adjusted?
The shade is fixed on the right-angled arm and does not tilt or rotate. The lamp is designed to direct light downward through the open cone aperture at a set angle.
How much floor space does it need?
The circular base has a 229mm diameter footprint, and the shade projects 309mm forward from the stem. This makes the lamp suitable for narrow spaces beside furniture where a tripod base would not fit.
Is the brushed gold finish warm or cool in tone?
The brushed gold finish sits between polished brass and antique brass in tone, leaning warm. It pairs well with warm-toned contemporary, mid-century and industrial interiors, and complements timber, warm greys and terracotta.
