Description

Oronegro is an 80x120cm photographic portrait printed on 4mm tempered glass, depicting a figure painted in matte black with gold-leaf accents on fingertips, lips and eyelids. The composition shows the figure covering one eye with a hand, creating a central focal point in the gold fingertips against the black skin tones.

Designed for feature walls in hallways, reading rooms, bedrooms and lounges where vertical wall space allows a 120cm-tall piece, the print works in interiors that pair dark walls with metallic accents or monochrome schemes needing a single accent colour. The tempered glass substrate gives the image a reflective depth that changes appearance depending on ambient light and viewing angle, with the gold elements catching light more strongly than the matte black areas.

Can the glass be cleaned?

Yes. Wipe the tempered glass surface with a soft microfibre cloth and standard glass cleaner. Avoid abrasive cloths or scouring products that could scratch the printed surface. The protective film on delivery should be removed after installation, not before.

Is the print suitable for bathrooms?

The tempered glass substrate is moisture-resistant, but the print is not rated for high-humidity environments like bathrooms or wet rooms where condensation regularly forms on walls. Keep it in dry interior spaces.

What wall colour works best?

The black and gold palette stands out most strongly against white, off-white, pale grey or deep charcoal walls. On mid-tone walls the contrast reduces, which can work if the print is lit with directional accent lighting.
