The Morta B is a recessed ceiling spotlight built around a square glass housing in a black finish. It accepts a single MR16 lamp on a GX5.3 cap, rated up to 10W, and runs on a 12V supply (12V AC or 12V DC) through a suitable transformer or driver. The directional MR16 format gives a focused, accent-style light rather than broad ambient fill, which is what these recessed fittings are designed for. In US terms a fitting of this kind is the familiar low-voltage recessed can spot, sized for a compact square aperture rather than a large round trim.

The square 90 x 90 mm face suits hallways, landings and over-counter or display positions where a single tidy point of light is wanted, and several can be spaced in a line or grid to wash a worktop, shelf or feature wall.
