Description

The Mireya is an 8-light chain veil chandelier finished in nickel, measuring 65cm in diameter with a tiered sculptural body of fine brass chains draped over a structured metal frame. Eight E14 lamp holders sit within the form, lighting the chains from the inside so the nickel-finished strands glow and shimmer as light passes through them. The fitting is supplied with a 150cm cable and decorative chain suspension.

Designed for double-height interiors, the Mireya suits stairwells, entrance halls, galleried landings and tall dining rooms with ceilings of 4m or higher. The vertical, multi-tiered silhouette pulls the eye upwards and works particularly well above a curved or sweeping staircase where it can be viewed from multiple levels. The 8 x E14 6W LED fittings provide enough output to act as the primary light source in spaces up to around 25-30m².

Construction combines a rigid metal armature with hundreds of individually-hung brass chains in a nickel finish, terminating in pointed chain tips at the base of the fitting. The sculptural form reads as fluid drapery from a distance and as fine metalwork up close. At 28kg, installation requires a structurally rated ceiling fixing and is best handled by a qualified electrician. The nickel tone pairs cleanly with monochrome schemes, dark timber, marble and polished concrete.

What ceiling height does the Mireya need?

The chandelier is designed for tall interiors with ceilings of 4m or higher, such as double-height halls, stairwells and galleried landings. The supplied 150cm cable can be shortened on installation to set the fitting at the correct viewing height for the room.
