Description

The Farley is a 100x110cm wall mirror built from four separate glass panels: a central reflective rectangle surrounded by three interlocking bevelled glass frames that step outward in a geometric pattern. Each frame is cut from clear mirror glass with bevelled edges that catch and refract light, creating depth and dimension across the surface.

Designed for feature walls in hallways, above mantels, or in dining rooms where a large reflective surface helps open up the space, the Farley's layered geometry gives it more visual interest than a single flat mirror. The stepped frames project approximately 19mm from the wall when hung, creating shallow shadow lines between each layer that shift as natural light moves through the day. At 14.6kg the mirror requires wall fixings rated for the weight and appropriate to the wall type.

The bevelled edges on each glass frame are cut at a consistent angle, giving a chamfered profile that diffuses reflections along the borders and prevents the hard edge typical of standard mirror glass. The Art Deco-inspired geometry works in both period and contemporary interiors, particularly where there are other rectilinear elements in the room (panelling, alcoves, window frames). The clear mirrored finish pairs with any wall colour without introducing competing tones.

Frequently Asked

What wall fixings are needed?

At 14.6kg the Farley requires wall fixings rated for at least 20kg to provide a safety margin. For solid walls use heavy-duty mirror plates or D-rings with appropriate wall plugs. For stud walls locate the studs and use wood screws through the mounting points, or use cavity wall anchors rated for the weight.

How is the mirror cleaned?

Use a standard glass cleaner or a solution of distilled water with a small amount of white vinegar, applied with a microfibre cloth. Wipe in straight lines rather than circles to avoid streaking across the bevelled edges. Avoid abrasive cloths or scouring products that can scratch the mirrored surface.

Can it be hung horizontally?

The Farley is designed to hang vertically in a portrait orientation, with the interlocking frames creating a vertical emphasis. Hanging it horizontally would change the visual balance of the layered geometry, though the mirror itself would function in either orientation if the mounting points allow it.

Does it come with hanging hardware?

Check the product packaging on delivery. Some Libra mirrors include basic hanging hardware, but given the weight it's advisable to use wall fixings appropriate to your specific wall type rather than relying on generic supplied fittings.
