The Energizer AAAA is a 1.5V alkaline battery supplied in a 2-pack blister, designed for compact electronics that require the smaller AAAA cell size rather than the standard AAA. The AAAA format measures approximately 42.5mm in length and 8.3mm in diameter, making it roughly half the diameter of a AAA battery and suited to slim-profile devices where space is limited.

Common applications include active stylus pens for tablets and touchscreen devices, Bluetooth headsets, wireless earpiece models, glucose monitors, blood pressure monitors, laser pointers, and some pen-style LED torches. The AAAA cell is also used in certain medical devices and diagnostic equipment where the narrower profile fits the device housing. The Energizer AAAA replaces equivalent models labelled E96, LR8D425, MN2500 and MX2500.

Each cell delivers 1.5V on discharge, with alkaline chemistry providing a gradual voltage decline under load rather than the sharp drop-off characteristic of zinc-carbon cells. The shelf life is typically 5-7 years from manufacture when stored at room temperature, making the 2-pack suitable for drawer storage as a spare set for stylus pens and similar devices that see occasional rather than continuous use.
