Description
The Daber is a round LED ceiling light with a built-in PIR motion sensor, drawing between 8 and 13W and pushing out up to 1490 lumens across a wide 105 degree spread. Power and output step through three settings, so the same fitting can sit at 8W or run brighter at 13W depending on the spot it covers. Colour temperature is selectable across 3000K, 3500K and 4000K, moving from a warm tone through to a crisp neutral white. Search listings in the US tend to file this kind of sensor fitting under flush mount LED ceiling light, and the slim 59mm depth keeps it close to the surface in just that way.
Measuring Ø251mm, the Daber covers around 5 m² at general lighting levels, which suits a porch, a covered entrance, a stair landing or a utility area where hands are often full and a sensor earns its place. The PIR brings the light up on approach and lets it drop again once the space is clear, useful over an outdoor door or along a sheltered passage. Because it mounts flush to either a wall or a ceiling, it works at standard domestic heights without dropping into the head space. The wide beam angle spreads the output evenly rather than throwing a tight pool, so the lit area feels open rather than spotted.
Built from polycarbonate with an IK10 impact rating, the Daber stands up to knocks as well as weather, and its IP66 rating means it copes with exposed outdoor and fully wet locations including driving rain. The integrated LED is rated for 50,000 hours, so there is no bulb to replace over its working life. It runs on 220 to 240V AC and is not dimmable, with the three power and colour settings handling the adjustment instead. The finish is black throughout. Niori stocks the Daber alongside other sensor and ceiling fittings in the range.

Frequently Asked
How large an area does it light, and how bright is it?
The Daber delivers up to 1490 lumens with a wide 105 degree beam, covering around 5 m² at general lighting levels. That makes it a good fit for a porch, entrance, landing or utility space where even ambient light is wanted.
Can it be used outdoors and in wet conditions?
Yes. It carries an IP66 rating, so it is suitable for exposed outdoor and wet locations, standing up to rain and washdown. Its IK10 impact rating adds protection against knocks in busy or unprotected spots.
Does it have a replaceable bulb?
No, the LED is integrated and rated for 50,000 hours of use, so there is no separate bulb to change. When the unit eventually reaches the end of its life the whole fitting is replaced.
How does the PIR sensor work and where does it suit?
The built-in PIR detects movement and brings the light up automatically as you approach, then switches it off again once the area is clear. This makes it well suited to entrances, passages and outdoor doorways where hands-free, on-demand light is helpful.
