Description
This COB LED strip puts a continuous, dot-free line of light onto a single flexible reel, so the lit edge reads as one smooth band rather than a row of separate diodes. It draws 3W per metre and gives 316 lumens per metre in a 6500K daylight tone, with a CRI of Ra80 for honest colour. As an led strip light (or led tape, in US terms), it suits anyone who wants an even glow tucked into a recess. The reel measures 5m and cuts to length every 5cm at the marked points.
Use it for under-cabinet task light in a kitchen, cove and ceiling-perimeter detail in a living room, shelf and display accenting, or a discreet wash behind a headboard or media unit. The daylight output reads crisp and bright, which works well over a worktop or in a workshop where you want clear, neutral light rather than a warm tint. Coverage is a linear band along whatever edge or channel you run it into, so plan the length against the run you want to light. With an IP20 rating this is a dry indoor strip only, so keep it clear of bathrooms, damp areas and any outdoor location.
The strip runs on 24V DC, so it needs a matching 24V LED driver, sized to the total length you install and sold separately; it does not plug straight into a mains socket. Cut only at the printed 5cm marks, then connect at the free cable ends. The flexible backing lets it follow shallow curves and corners into aluminium profiles or channels. Rated for 30,000 hours, it is built as a long-life linear source for built-in detail work.

Frequently Asked
Does this strip need a driver?
Yes. It runs on 24V DC, so it needs a matching 24V LED driver rather than a direct mains connection. Size the driver to the total length you install, and note the driver is sold separately.
Can the strip be cut to length?
Yes. It can be cut every 5cm at the marked cut points along the reel. The 5m reel can be shortened to fit your run, then connected at the free cable ends.
Can it be used outdoors or in a bathroom?
No. This strip is rated IP20, which means dry indoor use only. Keep it clear of bathrooms, damp areas and any outdoor or sheltered-outdoor position.
How do I clean the strip?
Wipe it gently with a dry or barely damp lint-free cloth once switched off and cool. Avoid solvents and do not let moisture reach the cable ends or driver connections, as the strip is not moisture resistant.
