Description

The Carroll is a single-light bathroom wall light built from solid brass finished in polished chrome, with a ribbed glass shade that flares into an upward-facing tulip form. The fitting includes one 3W G9 LED bulb rated at 3000K, casting warm light through the vertical ribs of the glass to diffuse shadows and create ambient illumination.

Designed for bathroom installation under an IP44 rating, the Carroll is protected against moisture and splash from any direction, making it suitable for positioning above mirrors, flanking vanity units, or lighting alcoves in shower rooms. The 212mm projection from the wall and 261mm height suit walls with clearance from countertops and other fittings. The polished chrome frame pairs with contemporary chrome taps, towel rails and bathroom accessories.

The ribbed glass shade combines decorative and functional qualities, adding texture to the fitting while breaking up direct glare from the bulb. The solid brass construction gives the fitting weight and durability in humid environments where lighter fittings might corrode. Is the bulb replaceable?

Yes. The fitting uses a standard G9 socket and the included 3W LED can be replaced with any G9 bulb up to the maximum 3W rating. G9 LEDs are widely available and easy to swap without tools.

Can I install this outside the bathroom?

Yes. The Carroll works equally well in hallways, living rooms and bedrooms where the IP44 rating is not required. The traditional styling suits period properties and homes with classical detailing.

How is the glass shade cleaned?

The ribbed glass can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth and a small amount of glass cleaner or warm soapy water. Dry thoroughly after cleaning to prevent water spots forming in the grooves between ribs.
