Austen 2 Traditional Bathroom Wall Light - Polished Chrome IP44

The Austen 2 is a traditional bathroom wall light built from solid brass with a polished chrome finish, mounting a fluted clear glass shade on a stepped circular backplate. The fitting includes a 3W 3000K LED G9 bulb that sits inside the glass, casting soft ambient light through the fluted surface. The IP44 rating allows safe installation in bathroom zones 2 and 3, where the fitting may be exposed to moisture and steam.

Designed for bathrooms, powder rooms and hallways, the Austen 2 provides accent lighting around mirrors, along corridor walls, or flanking vanity units. The 300mm height and 140mm width suit standard residential wall heights, while the 155mm projection from the wall allows the glass shade to clear most dado rails and tile edges. The polished chrome finish reflects ambient light and pairs with chrome taps, towel rails and shower fittings common in modern bathrooms.

The solid brass body resists corrosion in damp environments better than steel or aluminium alternatives, and the chrome plating is applied over the brass rather than directly onto base metal, giving a thicker, more durable finish.
