Description

The Arcs is a 170mm outdoor LED wall light with a sand white metal frame housing an integrated 6W LED that projects twin beams of 3000K warm white light up and down the wall surface. The dual-beam configuration creates symmetrical pools of light above and below the fitting, suitable for lighting entrances, porch areas, external pathways and terrace walls where directional wall wash is needed rather than forward-facing flood light.

Rated IP54, the Arcs protects the LED and internal components against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for mounting on walls under eaves, covered porches, and other semi-exposed exterior positions. The 40mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting relatively low-profile while the 150° beam angle gives broad vertical spread. The 450lm output provides adequate ambient and accent lighting for domestic entrance areas without creating harsh glare at eye level.

The sand white finish is a warm off-white tone that sits between pure white and cream, pairing well with render, painted masonry, timber cladding and modern composite wall panels. The metal construction weighs 0.9kg and fixes to a standard UK outdoor wall box via rear-mounted screws concealed behind the backplate. The integrated LED is non-replaceable but rated for long-term use, and the fitting carries a 3-year warranty.

The IP54 rating protects against dust and water splashes but not direct jets or sustained heavy rain. Mount the Arcs under eaves, covered porches or other semi-sheltered positions rather than on fully exposed walls open to driving rain.

Can the LED be replaced?

No. The 6W LED is integrated into the fitting and not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for long operational life and the fitting carries a 3-year warranty covering LED failure within that period.

Does it provide enough light for a front door?

At 450lm the Arcs provides ambient accent lighting rather than bright security lighting. It works well paired with a second matching fitting on the opposite side of a door, or combined with a separate porch ceiling light for more general illumination.

What direction does the light project?

The Arcs casts light upwards and downwards along the wall surface in twin beams, creating pools of light above and below the fitting. It does not project forward into the space in front of the wall.
