Description

The Yoyo is a single-pendant light pairing an opal white glass dome shade with a domed polished silver chrome canopy, suspended on slim steel suspension cables. The shade measures 16cm in diameter and 12.5cm in height, hung from a 150cm cable that can be shortened on installation. A single G9 LED bulb sits inside the glass, casting diffused light through the opal shade.

Designed as a compact decorative pendant, the Yoyo suits kitchen islands, breakfast bars, bedside use as a hanging alternative to a table lamp, and grouped installations over dining tables where two or three pendants are run side by side. The 16cm diameter keeps the fitting in proportion above smaller surfaces and the opal glass softens the G9 light source so the bulb does not glare directly into the room.

The polished silver chrome ceiling cup mirrors the curve of the shade below, giving the fitting a balanced two-part visual rhythm rather than a flat ceiling rose. The metal frame and glass shade together keep the unit light enough for standard ceiling fixings, and the chrome finish reads cleanly against white, grey and pale wood ceilings. Backed by a 2-year warranty.

The Yoyo takes a single G9 capsule bulb. G9 LED bulbs are widely available in warm white (2700K-3000K) and cool white (4000K) options, typically rated 2-4W. Bulbs are sold separately.

Can the cable be shortened?

Yes. The 150cm cable is adjusted on installation to set the desired drop height. For a kitchen island or breakfast bar, the bottom of the shade typically sits 700-800mm above the worktop.

Is the glass shade fully opal or clear at the top?

The shade is opal white glass that meets the polished silver chrome upper cap. The opal glass diffuses the G9 bulb so the light source is not visible as a hot spot through the shade.

Can multiple Yoyo pendants be hung together?

Yes. The Yoyo works well in groups of two or three over a dining table or kitchen island. Each pendant requires its own ceiling outlet, or the pendants can be wired into a multi-port ceiling plate sourced separately.
