Description
The XLED is a C35 candle LED bulb with the classic flame profile and a clear glass envelope showing its visible LED filaments for a vintage look. It fits an E14 Small Edison Screw (SES) cap, the small screw fitting used across chandeliers, wall brackets and candelabra-style fixtures, and is the European counterpart to the US candelabra lamp. Drawing just 7W, it produces 1055 lumens at a 6500K daylight tone, with a wide 320° beam that spreads light almost all the way round the bulb in the manner of a traditional filament lamp. The 7W draw replaces a 75W old incandescent candle bulb, so it covers the same brightness for a fraction of the power.
Its bright, crisp daylight output suits open hallways, landings, kitchens and any decorative fitting where the bulb is on show and you want a clear, modern light rather than a soft warm glow. The near-omnidirectional 320° spread means it lights a room evenly from a multi-arm chandelier or an exposed pendant rather than throwing light in one direction, so several bulbs in a fitting carry a space well. Daylight at 6500K reads cool and clean, which works in task-led rooms and contemporary schemes. It is for dry indoor use only and should be kept clear of bathrooms, porches and any damp or outdoor location.
Built around C35 filament technology in transparent glass, the bulb measures just Ø35 by 97mm and weighs only 14g, so it sits neatly in compact and shallow shades. It runs on 220 to 240V AC mains directly from the E14 holder with no separate transformer or driver, has a colour rendering of Ra 80 and a rated life of 15,000 hours. This is a non-dimmable bulb, so it should be used with a standard on/off switch rather than a dimmer. Kanlux offers the XLED filament range in further caps and shapes if you need to match other fittings around the home.

Frequently Asked
Which cap fitting does this bulb use?
It has an E14 cap, also called Small Edison Screw or SES, the smaller of the two screw fittings. This is the standard fitting for many chandeliers, wall lights and candle-style fixtures, and is the European equivalent of the candelabra lamp. Check that your fitting takes E14 rather than the larger E27 before ordering.
What wattage of old bulb does it replace?
The bulb itself draws only 7W but gives out 1055 lumens, which matches the brightness of a 75W old incandescent candle bulb. The 75W figure is the equivalent it replaces, not the power it uses, so you get the same light for far less energy. Its rated life is 15,000 hours.
Is this bulb dimmable?
No, this is a non-dimmable bulb. It should be used with a standard on/off switch rather than a dimmer, as fitting it on a dimmer circuit can cause flicker or shorten its life. If you need adjustable brightness, choose a bulb listed as dimmable.
What does the daylight colour temperature look like?
At 6500K it gives a crisp, cool daylight tone, brighter and whiter than a warm-white bulb. This suits kitchens, hallways and task areas where clear light helps. With a colour rendering of Ra 80 it shows colours naturally for everyday use.
