Description
The XLED candle bulb is a C35 flame-shape LED lamp on an E14 Small Edison Screw (SES) cap, known in the US as a candelabra-style fitting. It draws just 1.8 W while putting out 250 lumens, replacing a 25 W old bulb at a fraction of the running cost. The light is a 4000K cool white with a Ra 80 colour rendering, spread across a wide 320 degree beam so the glow reaches around the fitting rather than firing in one direction. Visible LED filaments sit inside clear glass for a vintage look.
Because the beam wraps almost fully around the bulb, it suits open and exposed fittings where the lamp is on show, such as chandeliers, candelabra-style ceiling lights, wall brackets and bedside lamps. The 4000K cool white tone gives a crisp, clean light that works well in kitchens, hallways and living spaces where a brighter, less yellow output is wanted. With a slim Ø35 by 123 mm body it fits the narrow shades and clip fittings common to candle-style lights. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so keep it clear of bathrooms, porches and any outdoor location.
The clear glass envelope shows off the filament strands and is easy to wipe clean when switched off and cool. The lamp runs on 220 to 240 V AC mains straight from the E14 holder, with no separate driver or transformer needed, and reaches an efficiency of 139 lm/W. It is rated for 25,000 hours and weighs only 13 g. This bulb is non-dimmable, so pair it with a standard on/off switch rather than a dimmer. Other caps and shapes are available across the XLED range.

Frequently Asked
Which fitting do I need for this bulb?
It has an E14 cap, also called Small Edison Screw or SES, the smaller of the two screw fittings. Check your existing lamp or shade takes E14 before ordering, as it will not fit the larger E27 holder.
What wattage bulb does it replace?
It draws only 1.8 W itself but gives 250 lumens, roughly matching the brightness of an old 25 W incandescent candle bulb. You get that light level for a small fraction of the energy use.
Is this bulb dimmable?
No, this is a non-dimmable bulb. It should be used on a standard on/off circuit, not on a dimmer switch, as dimming may cause flicker or shorten its life.
How do I clean the bulb?
Switch it off and let it cool, then wipe the clear glass with a dry or barely damp cloth. Keeping the glass clean keeps the filament look crisp and the light output bright.
