Vista Outdoor Twin Spotlight - White

The Vista is a twin-head outdoor spotlight in powder-coated white aluminium, with two independently adjustable lamp heads mounted on a rectangular wall plate. Each head houses a GU10 lamp holder (bulbs sold separately) behind a transparent tempered glass lens. The IP44 rating protects against water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for UK exterior walls, covered porches, and under-eave mounting where rain exposure is moderate rather than direct.

Designed for garden walls, garage entrances, shed perimeters and patio lighting, the Vista allows each head to be angled independently to highlight different areas or objects. The 240mm projection from the wall gives enough stand-off to direct light down onto paths, across flower beds, or up onto architectural features. The twin-head configuration covers more ground than a single spotlight without needing multiple wall fixings.

The white powder coat over the aluminium body resists corrosion in UK weather conditions, though extended exposure to salt air in coastal locations will eventually degrade the finish. The adjustable heads rotate on brass-bushed joints, remaining tight enough to hold position under wind and rain but loose enough to reposition by hand. The rectangular backplate measures 90mm in length and conceals the cable entry point and terminal block behind the wall.

The Vista accepts any standard GU10 bulb up to the maximum wattage specified in the rating table. Most users pair this with two 5-7W warm-white LED GU10s at 2700K-3000K for outdoor security or path lighting, though higher-output 10W bulbs or daylight-temperature 4000K bulbs work equally well for task-focused applications.

What bulbs does it take and are they included?

Is it dimmable?

Yes, if you fit dimmable GU10 bulbs and connect the spotlight to a compatible outdoor dimmer switch. The fitting itself supports dimming, but dimmer compatibility depends on the specific bulbs chosen.

Can it be used in exposed positions?

The IP44 rating protects against water splashes from any direction but does not make the fitting waterproof. It suits sheltered positions such as under eaves, covered porches, or walls with overhangs. Avoid fully exposed positions where rain hits the fitting directly from above.

Can each spotlight head be adjusted independently?

Yes. Both heads rotate independently on their mounting joints, allowing you to direct one head down onto a path and the other across a wall, or both in the same direction for concentrated illumination.
