Description

The Tobago is a 600mm vertical LED wall light built from a slim rectangular aluminium body finished in matt white, housing an integrated 7W LED that produces 590 lumens of warm 3000K light. The continuous diffuser along the full 600mm length spreads the light evenly without visible hotspots, creating a soft ambient wash along the wall rather than a focused beam.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways, living rooms and transitional spaces where gentle ambient lighting is needed without the presence of a bulky fitting, the Tobago can be mounted vertically or horizontally depending on the wall space available. The 55mm width and 93mm projection keep the fitting close to the wall, making it suitable for narrower corridors or beside doorways where a deeper projection would obstruct movement. The 110-degree beam angle provides wide light distribution that softens shadows across adjacent surfaces.

The matt white finish allows the Tobago to blend into white or light-coloured walls in minimalist and Scandinavian-style interiors, or to act as a subtle accent against darker feature walls. The aluminium construction keeps the weight to 0.7kg while maintaining structural rigidity, and the fitting is supplied with the necessary wall-mounting bracket and fixings for direct installation onto masonry or plasterboard with appropriate anchors.

The integrated LED is non-dimmable and runs on standard 220-240V mains, requiring no transformer or driver beyond the unit itself. Mantra provides a 3-year warranty covering the LED module and housing.

Can the Tobago be installed horizontally?

Yes. While the product is shown vertically, the Tobago can be mounted horizontally if the wall space suits that orientation better. The light distribution remains even along the length regardless of mounting direction.

The Tobago does not carry an IP rating in the specification table provided, so it should be treated as suitable for general indoor dry locations only. For bathroom zones requiring splash or moisture protection, choose a fitting with an appropriate IP rating.
