The DC motor drives the fan at variable speeds, and the integrated LED ring provides dimmable light adjustable from warm 2700K to cool 5000K via the supplied remote or smartphone app.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms, and open-plan kitchen-dining spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Thai combines cooling, ambient lighting, and visual presence in one fitting. The retractable blade design means the fan occupies a smaller visual footprint when not in use, making it suitable for rooms where a traditional fixed-blade ceiling fan would dominate the ceiling. The 65W total power consumption covers both motor and LED, and the 120° beam angle from the LED ring provides even downlight across a 4-5m floor area.

How is the fan controlled?

The Thai includes a handheld remote that adjusts fan speed (six settings) and LED brightness/colour temperature. A smartphone app (iOS and Android) provides the same controls plus timer and scheduling functions. The fan cannot be controlled from a standard wall switch dimmer.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable drop rod allows installation at 310mm or 435mm below the ceiling. For safe blade clearance and airflow performance, ceiling heights of 2.4m or above are recommended. The retracted blade diameter when not in use is approximately 500mm; when extended, the blades sweep a 1220mm circle.

Can the colour temperature be changed?

Yes. The integrated LED is tuneable from warm 2700K to cool 5000K via the remote or app. This allows the light to be set warmer for evening relaxation or cooler for daytime tasks in the same room.

How quiet is the motor?

The DC motor runs quieter than traditional AC fan motors and allows smoother speed transitions. At low to medium speeds the fan is near-silent; at high speed there is audible airflow noise but minimal motor hum.
