Description
The Tenerife is a 345mm LED wall light with an integrated shelf and USB charging port, finished in white with a tubular opal diffuser. The shelf sits directly above the light bar, providing a 345mm x 80mm platform for a mobile phone, small speaker, watch or reading glasses. The USB port is built into the underside of the shelf, allowing a phone to charge overnight without trailing cables to a socket elsewhere in the room.
Designed for bedside use, the Tenerife mounts horizontally on the wall where a traditional bedside table lamp would sit, freeing up floor space in compact bedrooms or replacing the need for a separate table altogether. The 8W integrated LED outputs 640 lumens at 3000K warm white, providing enough light for reading in bed without over-lighting the room. The opal diffuser softens the LED strip into an even bar of light with no visible hotspots or individual diode shadows.
The white powder-coated metal body projects 80mm from the wall and weighs 0.45kg, making it light enough to fix to plasterboard with appropriate cavity fixings. The LED is integrated and non-replaceable, rated for 25,000+ hours at full output. The fitting works on standard UK mains voltage (100-250V) and does not require a transformer or separate driver — the electronics are built into the body.

Frequently Asked
Is the Tenerife dimmable?
No. The integrated LED operates at full 8W output when switched on and cannot be dimmed. For bedside use where lower light levels are needed, consider switching off the Tenerife and using a separate reading lamp with dimmer capability.
What USB output does the charging port provide?
The USB port is a standard USB-A output. Check the specification table for the exact output rating. Most modern phones will charge overnight on this port, though fast-charge protocols may not be supported.
Can the shelf support a tablet or book?
The 345mm x 80mm shelf is designed for lightweight items like a phone, watch, glasses or small speaker. It is not load-rated for tablets, hardback books or anything heavier than approximately 200-300g.
How is it wired?
The Tenerife requires a mains feed behind the wall, typically run from a bedroom lighting circuit via a wall switch. It does not plug into a socket. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with BS 7671 wiring regulations.
