Description
The Taos is a 120mm cube LED wall light with a dark grey cement-effect finish, housing an integrated 12W LED that produces 1100 lumens of warm 3000K light through upward and downward openings. The cube casts light from both top and bottom apertures, creating vertical bands of illumination on the wall surface while leaving the front and sides of the fixture itself unlit.
Designed for bathrooms, shower rooms and wet zones, the Taos carries an IP65 rating against water jets and dust ingress. This makes it suitable for installation in zones 1 and 2 of UK bathroom electrical zones, including directly above or beside showers and baths. The 100° beam angle from each aperture spreads light across a wide vertical section of wall, providing ambient illumination rather than focused task light.
The cement-effect finish is moulded rather than actual poured concrete, giving the textured appearance of raw stone while keeping the weight to 1.52kg. The dark grey tone sits between charcoal and mid-grey, pairing comfortably with white tiles, exposed brick, industrial pipework and both light and dark grout lines. The cube measures 120mm on all three axes, projecting 120mm from the wall once mounted on a standard flush back plate.
The integrated LED is non-dimmable and non-replaceable, delivering consistent 3000K warm white light across the fixture's operational lifespan. Installation requires connection to 220-240V mains via the rear cable entry, with the mounting plate concealed behind the cube body once fitted.

Frequently Asked
Can this be used inside a shower enclosure?
Yes. The IP65 rating protects against water jets from any direction, making the Taos suitable for installation in zones 1 and 2 of UK bathroom electrical zones, including inside shower enclosures and directly above baths. Standard Part P building regulations apply to bathroom electrical work.
Is the LED replaceable or dimmable?
No on both counts. The 12W LED is integrated into the fixture and cannot be replaced separately. The LED is also non-dimmable and must be wired to a standard non-dimming switch or circuit.
How does the light distribute from the cube?
The Taos casts light upward and downward through openings on the top and bottom faces of the cube. The front and sides remain unlit. This creates vertical bands of illumination on the wall surface, rather than projecting light forward into the room.
What wall colour works best with the dark grey finish?
The dark grey cement-effect finish pairs cleanly with white and off-white tiles, exposed brick, concrete render, and metro tiles in both light and dark grout. It also sits comfortably against darker charcoal or navy walls where contrast is less important than tonal continuity.
