Streton 200W LED Street Light IP66 - Grey

The Streton is a 200W LED street light built for pole-top and column mounting over roads, car parks and amenity areas. It puts out 26000 lumens at 130 lm/W in a neutral 4000K white, with a wide asymmetric 140° × 90° beam that spreads light along a carriageway or across a parking bay rather than throwing it straight down. American buyers will recognise this format as a shoebox-style area light, the sort of parking lot light fitted to a column to cover a wide footprint from a single head.

In practice this fitting sits at the top of a street pole or car park column and lights the ground below and ahead of it. The asymmetric beam is the reason it works well in lines: aimed along the road or aisle, each head reaches the next so units can be spaced for even coverage without dark gaps between them. It suits through-roads, access roads, retail and commercial car parks, yard and depot lighting, and post-top amenity routes. How does it mount?

How far apart can the columns be spaced?

The 140° × 90° asymmetric beam is designed to throw light along the road or aisle, so each head reaches towards the next. Aim the wider 140° spread along the route and set spacing to give even coverage at your chosen column height, avoiding dark gaps between poles.

Is it suitable for fully exposed outdoor use?

Yes. It carries an IP66 rating, which means it is protected against dust and strong water jets, so it is suitable for exposed outdoor and wet locations. The IK08 rating also gives a degree of impact resistance for street and car park sites.

What does this replace?

At 200W and 26000 lumens it is aimed at higher-output road and car park duties that previously used SON or metal-halide lamps. The LED head draws far less power for the same area coverage and is rated for 50,000 hours of service.
