Description

The Spar is a 3 light pendant built around three faceted polyhedron shades arranged on a three-arm brushed brass frame. Each shade is constructed from flat metal panels in matt white, joined at the edges with exposed brass-tone screw fixings, with the inner surfaces plated in polished gold. The frame takes 3 x E27 bulbs (sold separately) and measures 45cm in diameter with a 19cm shade height.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands, breakfast bars and open-plan living areas, the Spar suits ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher. The 150cm cable allows the pendant to be hung 700-800mm above a dining surface or set higher as a feature in a hallway or stairwell. The compact 45cm spread keeps the fitting proportionate above smaller tables and 4-6 seat islands without dominating the space.

The contrast between the matt white outer panels and the gold-plated interiors is what defines the Spar visually. Unlit, the pendant reads as a clean white geometric sculpture; once switched on, the gold inner faces reflect warm light back through the open joints between panels and down through the open base of each shade, throwing both ambient glow and directional light onto the surface below. The exposed brass screw heads at every panel junction reinforce the constructed, faceted character of the design.
