Description

This is the smaller of the two pedestal lights in the Courtyard range, the Georgian pattern, plainer and squarer than the Victorian, with a shallow crown. It stands 623mm tall and measures 205mm across.

It belongs on a path edge, a step, a terrace or a low wall. It weighs 11.30KG, so it bolts down to a foundation frame set in concrete rather than straight onto a slab. Harte rate it IP44, which covers splashing from any direction, so a covered or partly sheltered position is right; for a fully exposed position look at the IP65 fittings in the range. The same pattern runs from 623mm to 980mm, so you can match a pair across two positions without changing the look.

Glazing is polycarbonate and the lamp is an E27 screw fitting supplied without a bulb, so you choose the output and the colour rather than accepting a sealed unit. The maximum is 100W in total across one lamp; a 7W LED at 2700K is the usual choice. It is made in cast iron and galvanised steel. Harte cast, spray and glaze each light to order in County Wexford, so allow two to five weeks, and any RAL colour can go on in place of gloss black if you say so when ordering. An LED panel option is available in place of the lamp holder. Wiring an outdoor fitting needs a qualified electrician.
