Description

The Slim is a 106cm white ceiling fan light with four retractable blades housed within a flat circular body, combining an integrated 80W LED light and a DC motor-driven fan in a single ceiling-mounted fitting. The LED delivers 3500lm of dimmable, colour-tuneable light across a 145° beam angle, adjustable from warm 2700K to cool daylight 5000K via the included remote control. The fan blades retract into the body when not in use, leaving a flush 49.6cm diameter disc when the fan is off.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms and open-plan spaces with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m, the Slim provides both ambient lighting and air circulation without the visual bulk of a traditional ceiling fan. The remote control manages light brightness, colour temperature and fan speed independently, allowing the light to be used without the fan running or vice versa. The DC motor runs quieter than AC-motor fans and draws less power, making it suitable for overnight use in bedrooms.

The white polyurethane body and blades give a clean, minimal profile that sits flush to the ceiling when the fan is off, projecting approximately 31cm when the blades are extended. The 5.2kg weight requires secure ceiling fixing into a joist or suitable reinforced ceiling rose. The 5-year manufacturer warranty covers both the LED driver and the DC motor assembly. Installation requires connection to mains 220-240V and a ceiling rose capable of supporting the weight.

Can the light and fan be used independently?

Yes. The remote control allows the LED light to be used without running the fan, or the fan to operate without the light being on. Both functions can also be used simultaneously.

How does the colour temperature adjustment work?

The integrated LED is tuneable from warm white (2700K) to cool daylight (5000K) via the remote control. This allows the light tone to be adjusted to suit different times of day or tasks — warmer in the evening, cooler for daytime reading or working.

What ceiling height is needed?

The fitting projects 31-43.5cm from the ceiling depending on blade extension. It suits rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m. Lower ceilings risk the blades being within reach; higher ceilings reduce airflow effectiveness at floor level.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

The Slim is one of the more compact ceiling fan lights, but at 31cm minimum projection it still requires adequate clearance. Rooms with 2.4m ceilings can accommodate it, but ensure the blades when extended will not be within easy reach (typically 2.1m minimum floor-to-blade clearance is recommended).
