Description

These white screw cap covers fit Knightsbridge SN and CU series switches and sockets, covering the fixing screws that secure the metal sub-frame to the back box. Each pack contains 100 individual caps, providing spares for multi-room installations or replacements for caps that have been lost, damaged or discoloured over time.

Designed for use during installation or maintenance of Knightsbridge screwless plates, the caps press-fit over the recessed screw heads on the sub-frame after the faceplate has been fitted. This conceals the fixings and maintains the clean screwless appearance of the SN (Schneider) and CU (Curved) ranges. The caps are matched to the white finish of those ranges but will also fit other Knightsbridge series that use the same sub-frame fixing system.

Each cap measures approximately 8mm in diameter and is made from white polymer that resists discolouration under normal indoor conditions. The 100-pack format suits electricians, property managers and maintenance contractors fitting or refurbishing multiple rooms, where having spare caps on hand prevents delays caused by missing or damaged components. The caps are also sold individually as part of Knightsbridge's accessory range if only a few replacements are needed.

How are the caps fitted?

After the screwless faceplate is clipped onto the sub-frame, press each cap firmly over the exposed screw head on the sub-frame. The cap press-fits into the recess and holds by friction. No adhesive or tools are needed.

Can the caps be removed and refitted?

Yes. The caps can be prised out carefully with a small flat-blade screwdriver or fingernail if you need to remove the faceplate for redecorating or rewiring. New caps can be press-fitted after the faceplate is re-clipped.
