Description

The PRO-S is a 90W pole-mounted LED street light built for roads, car parks and larger outdoor amenity areas. It draws 90W from a 220-240V AC supply and puts out 14,180 lumens of neutral white 4000K light at an efficiency of 158 lm/W, so it covers a wide area while keeping running costs down. The wide X150 by Y125 degree asymmetric beam spreads light along a carriageway or bay rather than dumping it in a tight pool, which is what you want from what North American specifiers would list as a shoebox or area light.

Mounted on a pole, column or post top, this fitting suits adopted and private roads, car park columns, depot yards, retail and industrial site approaches, and similar open outdoor zones. The asymmetric throw is designed for even spacing along a run, so columns can be set at sensible intervals without dark gaps between them. At 14,180 lumens it gives strong, neutral white coverage across a sizeable footprint, projecting forward and to the sides rather than straight down, which keeps the lit area consistent for drivers and pedestrians moving through it.

The body is aluminium alloy in a grey finish, rated IP66 against dust and powerful water jets and IK08 for impact resistance, so it stands up to fully exposed outdoor and wet conditions. It carries a rated lifespan of 100,000 hours and is not dimmable, running at a fixed 90W output. At 605 by 265 by 108 mm and 4.17 kg, it fixes to a standard street spigot. This sits within our wider Pro-S range of street and car park luminaires for matching a site across different wattages.

Frequently Asked

How is the PRO-S street light mounted?

It is a pole, column or post-top luminaire that fixes to a standard street lighting spigot. It is not a wall fitting and should be installed on a column or pole, not fixed to the side of a building.

Is it suitable for fully exposed outdoor and wet locations?

Yes. The PRO-S is rated IP66, which means it is sealed against dust and high-pressure water jets, making it suitable for open roads, car parks and other fully exposed sites. The IK08 rating also gives it useful resistance to knocks and impacts.

How far apart can columns be spaced along a road or car park?

The wide X150 by Y125 degree asymmetric beam spreads light forward and sideways along a run, which allows reasonable column spacing without dark gaps. Exact intervals depend on column height and the lux level your scheme requires, so a lighting layout should be worked out for the specific site.

What does this replace and how bright is it?

At 90W it delivers 14,180 lumens of neutral white 4000K light at 158 lm/W, comparable to a much higher-wattage SON or metal-halide head while using far less energy. With a rated 100,000 hour lifespan it also cuts maintenance visits compared with traditional discharge lamps.
