Description

The PRO-S 600x260 is a 110W LED street light built for pole and column mounting along roads, access routes and car parks. It puts out 16540 lumens at a neutral 4000K white, with an efficiency of 150 lm/W and a wide asymmetric beam of 150° × 125° that spreads light evenly forward and to the sides. Specifiers working to US terms will know this format as a shoebox or area light, the column-mounted fitting that lines parking lots and carriageways. It mounts to a street pole spigot rather than to any building, throwing a controlled wash across the surface below.

The asymmetric optic suits long runs where fittings sit on regularly spaced columns, casting light down the road or across parking bays without heavy spill behind the pole. The 150° × 125° beam helps keep a steady level between columns, so it works well for through-roads, estate access roads, depot yards and open car parks. Mounted at typical street-column heights, the wide forward throw covers the carriageway and adjacent footway, and the neutral 4000K tone gives clear surface definition for drivers and pedestrians. Choose pole spacing to suit the column height and the level required for the route.

The housing is aluminium alloy in a grey finish, rated IP66 against dust and powerful water jets and IK08 for impact, so it stands up to fully exposed outdoor and wet locations year round. It is a non-dimmable fixed-output luminaire rated for 100,000 hours, measuring 605 × 265 × 108 mm and weighing 4.17 kg, running directly from a 220-240V AC supply. It is a strong choice where a metal-halide or SON street lantern is being replaced with a longer-life LED. The wider PRO-S range covers further wattages for matching schemes across a site.

Frequently Asked

How is this street light mounted?

It is designed for pole, column or post mounting via a street-pole spigot. It is not a wall fitting and should not be fixed to the side of a building. This keeps the asymmetric beam aimed correctly down a road or across a car park.

Is it suitable for fully exposed outdoor use?

Yes. With an IP66 rating it is sealed against dust and high-pressure water jets, so it copes with rain, wind and wet weather all year. The IK08 impact rating and aluminium alloy housing add further outdoor durability.

What spacing and coverage does it give?

The 150° × 125° asymmetric beam spreads 16540 lumens forward and sideways for even cover between columns. Pole spacing depends on the mounting height and the lighting level needed for the route, so set columns to suit the road or car park layout.

What does this replace and how much does it use?

At 110W and 150 lm/W it is well suited to replacing older metal-halide or SON street and car-park fittings at far lower running cost. Its 4000K neutral white and 100,000-hour rated life mean clear, long-lasting illumination.
